Education for clinical coders at the Intermediate level for 11th edition has been incorporated into our Certificate IV in Clinical Classification. 11th edition Intermediate coding study is not available as a stand-alone course.
Course commences is the date HIMAA expects students to begin the coursework
Number of weeks is the total number of weeks for submission of assessments
Average study hours indicates the average time taken per week to study the course work and complete the assessment for each module
Note This is a guideline only as study time will depend on your ability and understanding

Assessment submission is via the dropbox in your coursework
Submit by is the last day for receipt of each assessment. Assessments may only be submitted two days before the date scheduled. Assessments submitted prior to this date will not be marked until the scheduled date
Examination date If the examination date falls on a public holiday the examination is to be taken the next business day
Application for examination and supervisor nomination form are sent by the student to the Student Support and Administration Officer, Education Services after all assessments have been completed.
