An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and enthusiastic Health Information Manager to fill a new auditing and education position across four Healthscope sites (Knox, Ringwood, Bellbird and The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre), role will primarily be based at Knox Private.

We are seeking an experienced Health Information Manager looking to further their career. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Ongoing auditing and evaluation of the clinical coding and casemix units at all sites
  • Preparing and presenting relevant educational material as required to staff both internal and external to Health Information Services
  • Implementation and management of a coding audit program

The company owns and manages a diverse range of facilities including large high acuity metropolitan hospitals, regional and suburban hospitals including Knox, Ringwood, & Bellbird Private Hospitals and The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre.

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree in Health Information Management or equivalent
  • Up to date knowledge and experience using ICD-10-AM, including thorough knowledge of the Australian coding standards
  • Experience in completing random and targeted coding audits
  • Ability to be flexible and manage resources to meet company deadlines
  • Successful completion of Latrobe University Clinical Coding Auditing Course desired
