Manager of Admissions & Registrations, Transport and Switchboard

We are seeking applications from highly motivated and progressive Managers, with a tertiary level qualification in a health information related field.

If you are an experienced Manager interested in leading a dynamic, hardworking and patient focused team, then this will be of interest to you.


Responsibilities include:

  • Overall responsibility for the Admissions & Registrations, Transport and Switchboard services
  • Staff responsibilities associated with the management of 15.6 eft
  • Review and process improvements within the services and in liaison with other key health service areas
  • Representation of the services in relation to system related projects
  • Continuous education and training of administration staff
  • Contribution to the overall management of the Health Information Services department as a member of the HIS management team



Essential:

  1. Tertiary qualification in health information related field
  2. Previous staff management experience
  3. Strong knowledge of patient administration systems
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of personnel
  5. Strong computer literacy and general computing skills
  6. Commitment to continuous quality improvement and change management


Desirable:

  • Prior staff management experience in a Health Information Services or Patient Services role
