WW6103 - Clinical Coders - (Contract) - Code On Time - Lismore, Toowoomba, Wagga Wagga, Wangaratta, Sydney CBD- NSW, QLD, VIC.


CODEONTIME is currently looking for experienced Clinical Coders to join our team, specifically for work in the following locations:

  • Lismore in Northern NSW
  • Toowoomba in Southeast QLD
  • Wagga Wagga in Southern NSW
  • Wangaratta in Northeast VIC
  • SYDNEY CBD in NSW

Essential requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management, or completion of a recognised ICD-10-AM clinical coding course;
  • Clinical Coders must have a minimum of 3 years recent continuous clinical coding experience using ICD-10-AM / ACHI / ACS in an Australian Inpatient facility;
  • In addition to the above, Auditors must have undertaken a recognised Audit training course;
  • Professional presentation and extremely reliable;
  • Demonstrated attention to detail;
  • Abilityy to work independently;
  • Thorough understanding of casemix and DRGs, in an ABF work environment.
  • Applicants meeting the essential criteria above are required to complete a coding test to assess suitability. Applicants are also required to successfully undertake a National Criminal History Check if they have not already done so within the last 12 months & NSW Ministry of Health Level B staff vaccination requirements.
