The Information Services Division provides Bendigo Health’s internal and external telecommunications network and supports the use and development of information and communications technology (ICT) across the organisation. This is achieved through the implementation of the ICT strategic plan and the support of a number of enterprise applications, used in both clinical and non-clinical aspects of service delivery across the organisation. The division provides guidance on the on-going development of a complex information and communications technology infrastructure.

  • .Bachelor of Health Information Management OR Successfully Completed Intermediate Clinical Coder qualification from Health Information Management Association Australia [HIMAA]
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Clinical Coder.
  • Strong understanding of the effects of documentation on coding.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of heath record work system and processes.
  • A willingness and ability to learn
