We are seeking applicants who have attended the ACE course or hold at least the HIMAA Intermediate qualification (or equivalent). Ideally, applicants will have current ICD-10-AM, 8th Edition coding experience - though some consideration will be shown for trainee coders who show remarkable potential. Your coding skills will be of a very high standard, as will your communication and computer skills.


You will require a commitment to coding accuracy and integrity and will be required to participate in regular coding quality activities and on-going education to up skill your knowledge.


Remuneration will be in accordance with the Auckland District Health Board competency-based Clinical Coding Structure, which will recognise your skill and expertise.


This position is permanent full time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday and the hours of work are negotiable between 7am to 5pm, depending upon your existing commitments.
