We provide one of the two adult major trauma services to the state of Victoria.

    We are seeking an exceptional Health Information Manager to join the Royal Melbourne Hospital Health Information Services Management team to lead the Release of Information team, Transcription team and Patient Administration team. Reporting to the Health Information Services Manager, this position will be responsible for 13.75 EFT and manage all aspects of the day to day operations.

Essential: 
  • Bachelor of Health Information Management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Freedom of Information legislation
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the principles of Health Records and Privacy legislation
  • Experience with Statutory Extract reporting
  • Ability to work within timeframe to achieve service goals
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff
