WW6360 - Freedom of Information Officer - (Full-time) - Melbourne Health, The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Parkville, VIC

We are seeking the appropriate candidate to assist in the provision of Freedom of Information and Medico-legal duties across Melbourne Health. The Freedom of Information Officer will assess and process FOI applications and other medico-legal requests in accordance with the relevant legislation.

About you

  • Experience in processing Freedom Of Information and medicolegal request
  • Understanding of the principles and operation of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Vic), Health Records Act 2001 (Vic), Information Privacy Act 2000 (Vic) and Health Services Act 1988 (Vic)
  • Excellent communication skills and organisational skills
  • bility to work autonomously and contribute effectively as a supportive team member
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
