About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Health Information Manager – Private Health Insurance with demonstrated experience managing clinical audits, case mix analysis whilst completing timely and accurate clinical coding along with appropriate documentation. Experience in a Private Health Insurance setting desirable but not essential. This is a fixed term 12 month position with the view to extend to a permanent position.

This role will take responsibility of the analysis of claims and further investigation of fraud waste and leakage activity to ensure that Defence Health is a prudent manager of its members funds.

This role is pivotal in supporting the onward strategic direction of the team and organisation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible, delivery focused with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Working as part of a team is essential to our success so a clear demonstration of how this has been applied previously will be required.

It can get pretty busy, so during peak periods you will have the resilience to manage high workloads, inspire your team and drive proactive problem solving.
