CPF Upgrade Project Officer – Health Information Services (HIS) Full-time Fixed term contract (4 months, commencing mid-February 2019) Northern Health is a dynamic health service, providing vital public healthcare to residents of Melbourne’s northern suburbs and the surrounding regional communities. Our campuses offer services to a diverse community across acute, subacute, ambulatory and community programs.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional with either a Health Information Management qualification or a qualification in business, administration or healthcare related to undertake the role as Project Officer for the CPF (Clinical Patient Folder) Upgrade.

CPF is the scanned Medical Record used across Northern Health, developed by InfoMedix. Northern Health are upgrading the CPF system from version 3.2.6 to version 4. This is a major upgrade and Northern Health will be one of the first Victorian Health Services’ to deploy this version.

The CPF Upgrade Project Officer is a temporary fixed term position that has been created to assist with the Upgrade of CPF from Version 3.2.6 to Version 4, including implementation of eDischarge and eTriage Modules and two new scanners.


Responsibilities / Duties: 

The position will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with all required testing throughout the Project including eform templates, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in collaboration with the Project Team and deployment of two new scanners at Broadmeadows Hospital.

The position is responsible for liaising with Health Information Services, IT, Outpatients and InfoMedix throughout the Project and will be required to travel to all Northern Health campuses


Essential: 
  • Bachelor of Health Information Management or a qualification in business, administration or healthcare related


Desirable: 
  • Experience with Project Management
  • Experience with Health IT Systems
  • Demonstrated experience with health system upgrades and end to end testing
  • Strong communication and written skills with attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
