An exciting opportunity exists in vibrant, cosmopolitan Auckland New Zealand for an enthusiastic and motivated person with strong clinical coding skills to experience living and working in New Zealand.

Clinical Coding at Waitemata covers a broad casemix, and we are working in ICD-10-AM, 8th Edition; transitioning to 11th Edition on July 1st 2019.

The successful applicant will be a qualified coder with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience, in 8th Edition or above. Advanced computer literacy and a high level of verbal and written communication skills are essential in this position.

Support for staff is a high priority in the coding team, and we have two skilled coding auditors/educators on staff. Assistance (financial and time wise) can be accessed to move through the coding levels

Flexibility in hours of work will be considered for the right applicant.
