An exciting opportunity is currently available for a Clinical Coding Auditor to join the friendly and supportive Health Information Services team at Prince of Wales Private Hospital. The position would suit a highly motivated individual with excellent clinical coding skills seeking to expand/consolidate their experience working with a more complex casemix

Prince of Wales Private Hospital, located in Sydney's eastern suburbs, has 168 overnight beds and specialises in cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, spinal surgery, endovascular surgery, interventional neuroradiology, general surgery, general medicine, liver surgery, orthopaedics, maternity and paediatrics. The hospital is co-located with Prince of Wales Hospital (public), Royal Hospital for Women and Sydney Children's Hospital

Essential criteria:

  • HIMAA Intermediate/Advanced Clinical Coding Course
  • Up to date extensive knowledge with at least 5 years Clinical Coding knowledge and experience using ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise and time manage
  • Problem solving ability

Desirable criteria:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Information Management (or equivalent)
  • Clinical Coding Audit qualification
  • Knowledge of webPAS patient administration system
  • Previous private hospital experience.
