The Aged Persons Mental Health Program (APMHP), NorthWestern Mental Health

(NWMH) is a multidisciplinary mental health service that value working with supportive, friendly colleagues.

This role is a specialised Health Information Manager role and based at the APMHP Executive Office in Sunshine, with travel throughout our catchment area as required.

In this role, you will play a key role in providing and maintaining standards for Health Information management services, with a focus on Freedom of Information (FOI) legislative compliance.

We are seeking a qualified Health Information Manager to join the Aged Persons Mental Health Program.

This is a Full Time, Fixed term position and will include:

Focus on Freedom of Information (FOI) compliance

High-level data analysis to support service development and monitoring

Coordinate and support medcio-legal requests

Participate in activities that support and enable organisational readiness for developments in mandatory mental health specific reporting

Your Contribution:

Demonstrated Clinical coding experience

Thorough understanding of relevant legislative frameworks, such as Mental health, FOI Act, Health Records Act

Highly developed written, verbal and analytical skills

Ability to problem solve, negotiate and communicate with staff and other providers

High-level computer skills, including sound understanding and use of Microsoft Excel

Qualified Health Information Manager, with preferable experience within the Mental Health sector
