Assistant Director – Coding, Classification and Analytics

Temporary part time up to seven months, 28 hours per fortnight

About the Role

• Provide expert advice to the Director in matters relating to clinical classification that impact on Activity Based Funding and other priority areas for the management and provision of Health Information Services within Redcliffe Hospital.

• Contribute significantly to the overall strategic and operational planning and development of the Health Information Service clinical coding function and assist in the execution of departmental strategies and plans to enhance the Redcliffe Hospital Health Information Services.

• Responsibility for the Redcliffe Hospital Health Information Services mortality and morbidity coded data collection, reporting and analytics to ensure the provision of accurate and timely ABF information to external agencies, Queensland Health, Metro North Hospital Health Service and Redcliffe Hospital staff
