    About the role

    We are seeking an experienced dynamic Senior Health Information Manager to work with a supportive senior management team providing leadership and management of health information in a complex electronic environment. The role has principal portfolio responsibilities for the management of Eastern Health’s hybrid health record focusing on the scanned and historical paper record with close alliance with the electronic medical record. This position is principally located at Maroondah Hospital with oversight of the service at other Eastern Health sites. Travel between sites is required.

    About you

    To be successful in this role you should possess:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science Health Information Management (or equivalent)
  • Eligible for full membership with the Health Information Management Association of Australia
  • Previous experience managing a health information services department is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change with successful outcomes
  • A strong interest in staff management and coaching staff to achieve
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team and across multiple teams
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience managing teams
